Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account?
No. My Support Passport does not require a separate app account, subscription or purchase.
Where are profiles stored?
Profiles are stored on your device. When iCloud sync is available and enabled, they may also be stored in your private iCloud account so they can stay available across supported Apple devices.
Steady Neuro does not operate a separate database that can read your profiles.
Do I have to complete every section?
No. Every field is optional. Complete the sections that are helpful for the person and the document you want to create.
Why is the app asking for microphone or speech-recognition access?
The microphone button provides optional speech-to-text entry. These permissions are only needed if you choose to enter information by voice. You can type instead.
Why is the app asking for photo access?
You can optionally select a profile photograph from your photo library. A photograph is not required to create a profile or document.
What documents can I create?
You can preview a one-page support profile, health passport or quick support card. You can then share, save or print the document as a PDF.
Is My Support Passport a medical app?
No. It is an organisational tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment recommendations or emergency assistance.
