Last updated: 14 June 2026

Behaviour Tracker is made by Steady Neuro. This policy explains what information the app stores, how it is used, and how families stay in control of their data.

Behaviour Tracker is designed to help parents and carers record behaviour incidents, triggers, early signs, what helped, and related notes. It is not a diagnostic tool, medical device, clinical assessment, or replacement for professional advice.

Information stored in the app

The app may store information that you choose to enter, such as:

  • Profile names
  • Behaviour logs
  • Date and time of incidents
  • Behaviour type
  • Severity and duration
  • Location labels
  • Antecedents, behaviours and consequences
  • Triggers
  • Early warning signs
  • What helped
  • Notes you write yourself

Please avoid entering information that you do not need to keep in the app.

Where your data is stored

Behaviour Tracker stores your data on your device.

If iCloud sync is enabled in the app, your data may also be stored in your private iCloud account so it can sync between your Apple devices. Steady Neuro does not operate a separate account system for Behaviour Tracker and does not run its own cloud database for your behaviour logs.

Steady Neuro cannot read your private iCloud data.

Analytics, advertising and tracking

Behaviour Tracker does not use advertising tracking.

Behaviour Tracker does not sell your data.

Behaviour Tracker does not use your behaviour logs for marketing profiles.

If the app uses Apple-provided crash reports or diagnostics, those reports are handled through Apple’s systems and are used only to help improve app reliability. They are not used to identify children or build profiles.

Sharing data

The app does not automatically share your behaviour logs with Steady Neuro, schools, clinicians, or other organisations.

If the app includes export or sharing features, you choose when to export or share information. Once exported, you are responsible for where that file is sent and who can access it.

Children’s information

Behaviour Tracker is intended to be used by parents and carers. Children should not be expected to manage their own privacy settings or understand the implications of the information being recorded.

Because behaviour logs may include sensitive information about a child, we recommend:

  • Using first names, initials, or nicknames rather than full names where possible
  • Avoiding unnecessary medical or school details in free-text notes
  • Only sharing exports with people who genuinely need the information
  • Deleting old information when you no longer need it

Deleting your data

You can delete logs inside the app.

You can also delete the app from your device. If iCloud sync is enabled, deleting the app may not automatically remove data already stored in iCloud. You may need to delete iCloud data through the app or through your Apple/iCloud settings, depending on the features available in the current version.
